About Logic: code breaking
Logic: code breaking is an educational puzzle game based on the classic code-breaking board game from the 1970s, also known as Bulls and Cows or Numerello. Test your deductive reasoning as you crack randomly generated codes using logic and strategy.
Play solo to hone your code-breaking skills. Each guess triggers feedback showing how many pegs match the hidden code in both color and position, versus color alone. Use this information to narrow down possibilities and break the code in the fewest guesses possible. As you progress, you'll earn points and climb the ranking system, competing against your own high scores.
Configure the game to match your skill level. Adjust the number of rows, columns, and available colors to suit novices learning the basics or experts seeking intense challenge. The flexible settings let you recreate dozens of variants with different complexity levels, so you can always find a difficulty that keeps you engaged.
Challenge friends and family in two-player modes. Play head-to-head on the same device, or use Play by Mail for remote competition across any distance. One player sets the code while the other breaks it, then switch roles to see who can crack the code faster.
Customize the game's appearance to suit your needs and preferences. Swap colors for different pegs, apply light or dark mode, and choose from multiple color themes. For players with color blindness, configure code labels using numbers and letters alongside colors, ensuring everyone can play comfortably. These labels also make the game an engaging learning tool for younger players discovering numbers and letters through gameplay.
Access hints when a puzzle feels overwhelming, helping you stay in the game without sacrificing the challenge. Review detailed statistics after each completed game to track your improvement, compare results with friends, and identify patterns in your code-breaking approach. Most games finish in two to five minutes, making Logic: code breaking ideal for quick mental challenges during breaks or extended play sessions.
Full accessibility support through TalkBack ensures visually impaired players can enjoy the puzzle without barriers. Logic: code breaking combines strategy, logic, and fun in a timeless format that rewards sharp thinking and careful observation.
